The International Energy Agency predicts that by 2025, global investment in oil will decrease by 6%, and the total investment in oil and gas across the region will drop by approximately 4% - slightly less than 57 billion US dollars. Global investment in refineries will fall to its lowest level in nearly a decade, amounting to around 30 billion US dollars, while investment in natural gas reserves is expected to remain the same as in 2024.
